| Standard Size | 1m × 100m. Custom lengths can be supplied upon request. |
|---|---|
| Recommended Density | Light grade (80–100g/m²): For internal use, designed to meet anti-cracking requirements for indoor applications. Medium grade (120–140g/m²): General-purpose specification for building external walls. Reinforced grade (160g/m²): High-strength enhanced specification. |
| Application Method | 1. Prepare and level the base substrate. Apply base coat mortar evenly onto the wall surface. 2. Embed the glass fibre mesh into the fresh mortar while it is still wet. Ensure the mesh lies flat without wrinkles or folds. 3. Overlap mesh edges appropriately. Fully cover the mesh with a further layer of base coat mortar to completely bury the fabric. 4. Allow proper curing before subsequent finishing work. |
Haochen alkali-resistant coated fibreglass mesh is a new specialist reinforcement material for modern building insulation and render anti-crack works, widely known within the industry as the “soft reinforcement bar” for wall construction. Manufactured from carefully selected C-glass and E-glass fibreglass yarns, the mesh substrate is woven via precision leno-weave technology. It then undergoes dual impregnation and coating with acrylic copolymer and pure acrylic alkali-resistant polymer emulsions, followed by thermal curing and setting. Featuring consistent manufacturing processes and robust structure, it serves as an indispensable core auxiliary material for external thermal insulation composite and render reinforcement systems.
This product adopts a triple alkali-resistance protection system. The fibres inherently contain zirconium and titanium ions for alkali resistance, supplemented by two layers of sealed polymer alkali-resistant coating. It delivers long-term resistance against aggressive alkalis present in cement mortar. High-grade mesh retains over 90% of its alkali-resistant tensile breaking strength, offering long-term protection exceeding 50 years within alkaline building environments. The fabric is flat and rigid with outstanding dimensional stability. It boasts high warp and weft tensile strength and low elongation. During installation, it lies flat without slippage and exhibits excellent bonding performance with mortar. It evenly dissipates drying shrinkage stress, thermal deformation stress and external impact loads, fundamentally eliminating common construction defects including cracking, hollowing, delamination and distortion in render and insulation layers. It effectively improves the integrity of wall finishes and extends the service life of buildings.
The mesh has superior overall physical properties: lightweight and flexible, impact-resistant, anti-ageing, mould and insect resistant, fire-retardant, sound-insulating, electrically inert and corrosion resistant. Suitable for a broad range of construction applications, it is simple to install, delivers consistent finished results and enables reliable on-site quality control.

Main Fields of Application
Widely used within EIFS external wall thermal insulation systems, embedded in anti-crack render layers to stabilise insulation assemblies and prevent cracking and delamination of the finish coat. Suitable for anti-crack internal rendering, renovation of new and existing walls, beam-column joints, reinforcement of lightweight partition panels and plasterboard joints. It also provides reinforcement for cement products including Roman columns, flues and GRC wall panels, anti-crack backing for marble and mosaic tiles, and reinforcement skeleton for roof waterproofing systems. Further applications include substrate for fire-resistant boards, geogrids for roadworks and joint sealing tapes in construction, for a wide variety of engineering scenarios.
