Haochen Vertical-Fibre Rock Wool Composite Panel represents a new generation of factory-integrated external wall insulation and fireproof board, developed specifically for thin-coat external thermal insulation composite systems in modern construction. Manufactured from high-purity basalt raw material, the product adopts directional fibre forming technology to produce a dense vertical-fibre rock wool core. High-strength flexible crack-resistant cement render protective layers are bonded to both faces of the core panel, then cured under constant-temperature factory conditions. Its overall structural performance and long-term stability are far superior to conventional rock wool systems with render applied on site.
Unlike standard horizontal-fibre rock wool boards, the vertical fibre load-bearing structure greatly enhances tensile, pull-out and wind-load resistance. It effectively mitigates long-standing common defects in external wall systems, including delamination, hollowing, deformation, water absorption and fibre powdering. The finished panel features a dense, rigid, flat surface and robust monolithic integrity. Repeated on-site mesh embedding and base levelling are no longer required, substantially cutting the construction complexity and labour costs of external wall insulation works.
Classified as A1 fully inorganic non-combustible insulation material, it combines five core properties: fire retardancy, constant thermal performance, crack and impact resistance, weatherproofing and sound attenuation. The panel delivers outstanding bulk hydrophobicity, capable of enduring harsh outdoor operating conditions including solar radiation, rainfall, freeze-thaw cycles and fluctuating temperatures over extended service periods. Its thermal performance remains consistent, suitable for new-build façades and energy-saving refurbishment of aged external walls.
Core Product Features
Structural Fire Resistance with Consistent Safety PerformanceMade of fully inorganic mineral fibre. It is non-combustible under high temperatures, produces no molten drips or hazardous smoke emissions. It can effectively halt vertical flame spread and satisfy stringent external wall fire acceptance criteria for high-rise residential blocks, schools, hospitals and public buildings.
Vertical Fibre Configuration for Enhanced Mechanical PropertiesFibres are aligned perpendicular to the panel face. The load-bearing direction closely matches wall dead loads and wind pressure stresses, greatly boosting pull-out, compressive and deformation resistance. This structural advantage reduces the risk of cracking and detachment in later service life.
Fully Integrated Factory Prefabrication, Doubled Installation EfficiencyBase render protective layers are prefabricated and cured in the factory, eliminating multi-stage on-site rendering and repeated levelling work. On-site installation consists merely of adhesive bonding plus mechanical anchoring, single-layer mesh embedding and thin render finishing. Simplified working sequences shorten construction programmes and deliver superior consistency of finished work.
Hydrophobic & Weather Resistant, Long-Term System StabilityThe integral high hydrophobic structure prevents rainwater and moisture ingress into the core, avoiding insulation failure, thermal performance degradation, mildew and fibre powdering caused by water absorption. It exhibits strong tolerance to wet-dry cycles, suited to external wall projects in humid, cold and high-rainfall regions.
