Haochen Exterior-Wall Rock Wool Board is a premium Class A non-combustible inorganic insulation material specially developed for external thin-plaster insulation systems, fully complying with modern exterior-wall construction standards and building safety specifications. Manufactured from high-purity basalt, diabase and other natural volcanic rock, our rock wool board excludes low-grade slag fillers to secure quality from the raw material source. Through fully automated production, raw materials are melted at over 1450 °C, centrifuged into ultra-fine inorganic fibres, bonded with formaldehyde-free resin, pressure-calibrated and precision-cut. Finished panels feature evenly distributed fibres, dense internal structure, smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy, avoiding common defects such as fibre shedding and loose texture. It is an ideal insulation material for high-rise buildings, large public facilities, industrial workshops and energy-saving renovation of old residential buildings, widely adopted in exterior-wall insulation and fire-stop belt projects.
The rock wool board delivers stable, superior fire resistance and achieves Class A non-combustible classification. As an inherently safe inorganic insulation product, it surpasses all organic insulation boards in fire safety performance. When exposed to open flame or high-temperature conditions, it will not ignite, produce molten drips or facilitate flame spread, and releases no toxic fumes including carbon monoxide. It forms a continuous fire protection barrier to block vertical and horizontal flame propagation, greatly reducing exterior wall fire hazards, lifting building fire-safety ratings and supporting smooth fire-safety inspection approval. Boasting a low and stable thermal conductivity coefficient, it effectively isolates heat exchange between indoor and outdoor spaces and cuts thermal bridge loss. Heating and air-conditioning energy consumption can be markedly reduced, helping residential, public and industrial buildings satisfy energy-saving standards and pass energy-saving acceptance checks.
Optimised fibre formulation and hot-press forming technology boost tensile strength, compressive strength, bending resistance and tear resistance, rendering the board suitable for high-altitude exterior wall installation and long-term outdoor service. Smooth panels with minimal thickness variation work perfectly with standard thin-plaster construction. The combined fixing method of full-coverage polymer mortar bonding plus special disc-type anchor bolts delivers high safety redundancy against strong wind load, temperature-induced deformation and wall structural stress, fundamentally preventing hollowing, cracking, edge warping, detachment and water seepage. Integral high-pressure hydrophobic treatment brings low moisture absorption and excellent water-repellent performance. Even under rainy and humid construction environments, panels resist water-induced softening. Thermal insulation and mechanical properties remain stable after long-term exposure to wind, rain, ultraviolet radiation and temperature cycling, securing long-term reliability of the insulation system.
Its three-dimensional open-pore fibre structure provides outstanding water vapour permeability and creates a "breathable" wall system, discharging trapped moisture within the wall cavity to prevent condensation, efflorescence, mould and spalling, thereby protecting the building substrate and extending its service life. The porous fibre matrix offers reliable sound absorption, attenuating traffic noise and ambient noise to improve indoor comfort for residential and office spaces. Chemically stable inorganic rock wool fibres possess excellent ageing resistance, UV resistance and thermal shock resistance. No powdering, deformation or performance degradation occurs over decades of outdoor exposure. Its service life matches that of the main building structure and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
Haochen exterior-wall rock wool board is an eco-friendly building material. Produced from natural inorganic minerals, it contains no formaldehyde, benzene compounds, radioactive substances or harmful constituents. Low-carbon manufacturing, safe installation and zero toxic emissions during operation meet green building and prefabricated construction requirements. A complete range of standard-size panels are held in stock, whilst custom cutting and deep-processing services are available in accordance with engineering drawings. It is applicable to full exterior-wall insulation, fire-stop belts, beam and column insulation and energy-saving retrofits for existing buildings. Supported by Haochen Insulation’s automated production lines, rigorous quality-control system and extensive project service experience, we guarantee consistent quality, on-time delivery and comprehensive after-sales support. Our products have been widely supplied to real estate developments, municipal projects, industrial infrastructure and renovation works, earning high recognition from contractors, construction teams and procurement clients.
